
Since 1973, the cross-country ski center Sutton en haut, situated just before arriving at the mountains of Mont SUTTON, offering you a network of trails for all with magnificent views. Nature lovers will be able to enjoy this great piece of wilderness coming with unique spectacular mounainous landscapes at over 600 meters of altitude.
Sutton en haut has 32 km of trails made up of 26 classic cross-country and 6 km of off trail. Also, Sutton en haut offers 15 km of snowshoeing trails.
Given its numerous intersections, the network of more than 30 km of looped trails offers many different circuits. The trails vary in difficulty and vertical drop. Points of interest abound: the brook and its mini crevasse, the charming bridge crossing over natural basins, the refuge where you may enjoy a steaming hot soup and a bite to eat, the many vistas and the pine tunnel trail.
For the adventurist, trail #9 before #60a (RESERVED FOR EXPERTS ONLY) will wind you up to almost 700m altitude on the back of our alpin ski center, Mont Sutton and reserves you 5 km of a descent. A great cardio workout.

*** The Town are please to announce that children who are Sutton residents from Grade 1 to Secondary 3, will cross-country and snowshoe free at Sutton on haut for the 2011-2012 season. Elementary students will need proof of residence and must be accompanied by and adult. High school students with need student ID.
